Ying Zhang is our director of Corporate Governance and Investment. He has extensive experience within leading architectural design firms, construction and development organisations in Australia and China for the last decade.

Andrew Wyatt has a history of completing complex development strategies in commercial and residential property development and experience with listed superannuation funds. Andrew’s role within Blueways is focused upon, strategic and economic analysis, project acquisition, initiation and management.

Tuo Dong has a past within the ‘big four’ accounting firms and with residential property development, property sales and the construction industry. A former employee of Apple Inc, Tuo has a highly informed perspective and unique understanding of digital and technology. Tuo’s emphasis within the Blueways business is focused on innovation, business development and people.

Samantha Cooper is the Blueways Company Accountant. Sam brings over 15 years experience with expertise in both tax and financial accounting and a background in the construction industry. An integral member of the Blueways team Sam brings a balanced perspective and practiced eye to many of the commercial decisions and interactions with Blueways partners.

Scott Huguenin brings over 20 years financial and property experience to the team in his role as the Blueways Commercial Director. Scott and has worked on major mixed use development schemes in Australia, United Kingdom, Monaco, Gibraltar, Czech Republic and Estonia. With a background in accounting, treasury, project management and marketing, Scott’s primary focus at Blueways is to optimise the outcomes from all projects.

Our founder, Qingmin Zhang (known fondly to us as ‘Uncle’), left his village in China in 1989 with $80 in his pocket. But in his head was something much more precious: a philosophy of integrity and patient flexibility. Today, Uncle’s property development and construction engineering companies employ upwards of 10,000 people, and are generating over $9.5 billion in projects that have created more than 160,000 homes.

Ying, Tuo and Andrew have established Blueways Group in Australia with a long term strategic and financial commitment. Investment, reinvestment and profits are retained in Australia. Our intent is to become one of Australia’s most significant developers.

Uncle, our founder, often reminds us of the ancient Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu’s advice: “Be like water”. Water nourishes all things without conflict.
